MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Merritt Island High School has promoted class of 2009 graduate Tyler Murray from offensive coordinator to head coach of the Mustangs football team.
Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room Coach of the Year Hurlie Brown announced that he would be leaving Merritt Island to join former Mustang and Space Coast Sports Hall of Famer Bubba McDowell at Prairie View A&M.
