PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (Jan. 30, 2026) – PV Place is the most visited site on the Prairie View A&M University website, even more than PVAMU.edu. It serves as a central hub for students, faculty, and staff, bringing together tools, services, announcements, and campus information into one organized, easy-to-navigate space. Recently refreshed as PV Place Reimagined, the platform now offers a clearer, more consistent digital experience as PVAMU’s services continue to grow. The Center for Information Technology Excellence led the redesign to meet the needs of the campus community.
What is PV Place and what does it do?
PV Place provides a single point of access to essential resources and daily campus needs, helping the Panther community stay informed and connected. It organizes frequently used tools and information into a consistent interface tailored to each user’s role. By integrating with existing PVAMU systems, PV Place streamlines workflows, improves communication, and creates a more cohesive digital experience.
Why was PV Place reimagined?
As PVAMU has grown, digital services and information have expanded across multiple platforms, making it harder to know where to go, which system to use, or where to find timely information. PV Place was reimagined to address these challenges by creating a more unified, intuitive, and modern digital environment that reflects how the campus community works and learns today.
That focus guided the redesign effort led by the Center for Information Technology Excellence.
