PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (April 12, 2021) – The Office for the Dean of Students at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) regrets to inform the community of the death of Ms. Valencia M. Lewis, a PVAMU student.
Ms. Lewis was involved in a car accident and passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. In her second year at PVAMU, Valencia was a pre-nursing major from Dallas, Texas. A 2019 graduate of Lakeview Centennial High School (LCHS), Valencia was an LCHS cheerleader, a member of the LCHS marching band, and selected as Miss Lakeview.
