Homecoming Giving Challenge

For those wanting to give back, PVAMU’s Office of Development is sponsoring their Annual Homecoming Giving Challenge, and this year, they are introducing a new beneficiary to the program, our Colleges and Schools Dean’s Fund.

Donors have from now until midnight, Nov. 3, to make donations electronically via the PVAMU Homecoming site via the “Giving” Tab. The winning College or School will be announced during the Homecoming Parade on Saturday morning at University Drive and the (old) H.T. Jones Elementary School.

“The significance of this venture is that each Dean has a set of priorities for their respective College or School, and these funds, which are unrestricted, allow them the flexibility to support various needs of students from scholarships, conference attendance, professional development, and those of faculty with purchasing of new equipment,” explained Annual Fund and Alumni Giving Director Lorie Proctor.

In addition to penciling in all of these fun events and experiences, be sure to download the ParkMobile for parking on campus and the RaveGuardian App for safety; utilize the Scoop feature if you are unable to drive safely to your destination.

We look forward to seeing you on “The Hill.” Let’s make this Homecoming a fun and safe experience for everyone.
