March is Women’s History Month! In honor of the Women’s History, PVAMU will kick –off its month long celebration today at 3:00 p.m. in the A.I. Thomas Building, Julius W. Becton, Jr. Auditorium. Our own Chief of the University Police Department, Zena Stephens, will be the guest speaker with Provost and Sr. Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Felecia M. Nave, presiding.
While today’s event serves as a kick-off, The Women’s Council has planned several activities throughout the month of March that will celebrate women. Please be on the lookout for a calendar of Women’s History events in Campus Announcements and on the website.
We look forward to seeing you at today’s event and at out activities throughout the month.
