This year, Prairie View A&M University’s College of Business is honored to host the 2016 FOCUSS Idea Competition. FOCUSS (Framework for Opportunity Convergence and the Utilization of Sustainable Solution) is a non-profit organization created to assist American ethnic minorities, women, veterans, and members of the LGBT community to discover sustainable solutions that will benefit society.
Sponsored by the CUNA Mutual Group, this activity is designed to stimulate constructive thought surrounding the concepts of innovation and discovery. The competition is open to all current participating college/university students. This year’s problem statement for PVAMU is:
Create a plan that promotes savings and investing among young adults. The plan should include specific strategies, tactics, messages, messengers, and the use of digital technology.

The competition is open to PVAMU students of all majors. Please join us for free food and prizes. Internship opportunities will also be presented from the corporate sponsor.
