PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (Aug. 14, 2025) – The countdown is on for one of Prairie View A&M University’s most anticipated traditions: Panther Camp! From Aug. 18 to 22, incoming freshmen and transfer students will participate in a week designed to jumpstart their college experience, build connections, and embrace Panther pride.
Move-In and Check-In
Freshman move-in will take place on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, and Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025. On-campus students will be contacted by their PAWS (Panthers Advocating for Wellness and Success) mentor after move-in with their Panther Camp schedule. Off-campus students should check in with the New Student Orientation Office in Evans Hall, room 121 or by phone at 936-261-2610.

Activities will begin early in the morning (5:30 a.m.) and conclude around 8 p.m. for most groups.
