“SHE” is powerful and real. This multimedia choreoplay tells the story of women who have survived abuse, including Sandra Bland, a former Prairie View A&M student who died in jail after being arrested for a minor traffic violation. One out of three women in the world has experienced sexual violence, whether domestic, physical or verbal abuse. “SHE” was created for the purpose of spreading awareness and understanding the pain that many women have been victims of. The dances performed throughout this play represent a woman’s strength and intensity.
