Award-winning journalist, MSNBC contributor, and thought leader Jeff Johnson will kick-off the 2015 SPIT Knowledge Lecture Series September 9.
Johnson, who currently serves as a partner and Chief of Strategy for the Baltimore-based branding firm Illume Communications, is known for his expertise in communications, grassroots mobilization, political campaigns, youth engagement. He has a gift of creating non-traditional partnerships and progressive eco-systems by utilizing meaningful relationships developed in the entertainment, non-profit, and government sectors.
The SPIT Knowledge series at PVAMU is a twist on the traditional college lecture series program aimed at arousing interest that may not be stimulated through the traditional classroom setting through the presentation of a diverse group of speakers. All lectures are free and open to the public.
