Prairie View A&M University’s rich history of academic excellence is grounded in our commitment to educating your student to become productive professionals and citizens in their communities. Our mission of excellence in TEACHING, RESEARCH, and SERVICE is the cornerstone of this land-grant institution, and we have made strides to achieve a living and learning experience conducive to students reaching their full potential.
As parents and family members, we want you to stay connected, both to your student and to the Prairie View A&M University community. At the Office of Parent & Family Programs, we want to help all PVAMU parents and families do three things:
LEARN. ENGAGE. CONNECT.
OUR MISSION AND VISION
To connect parents and families of Prairie View A&M University students to our campuses so that they may support their student’s academic, social, and physical development and success. The Office of Parent & Family Programs is here to answer questions, provide resources, and help provide guidance through any challenges the parents and family members of our students are experiencing.
Additionally, the Office of Parent & Family Programs will host events and programs to connect parents and family members with our campuses and with the day-to-day lives of their student. These activities will help the parents and family members to become familiar with the PVAMU campus and become a part of our esteemed traditions.
Events
Connecting parents and guardians with important resources, events, and information to promote the academic success of our students.
