CON White CoatPrairie View A&M University’s College of Nursing held a White Coat Ceremony on April 7. Dr. DeMonica Junious, assistant professor and coordinator of the Nurse Administration Program at PVAMU, served as the keynote speaker.

“Students are still talking about the meaningful way Dr. Junious incorporated the theme Nursing: The Ultimate Adventure into her remarks to them,” said director Forest Smith. “She shared with the 48 Pre-Nursing students representing the main campus in the Nursing Centennial Class very meaningful advice to assist them in the Nursing major and in life.”

Over 750 family and friends attended the ceremony, the largest crowd in the event’s nearly ten-year history.
