  • [01/10/2019] CS Department now officially participates in Google Tech Exchange program. In Spring 2019, three CS major students will be living and studying on Google campus at Mountain View (CA). 
  • [12/18/2018] Chloe Johnson, a CS sophomore, won the 1st place in the IBM HBCU Hackathon in Raleigh, North Carolina.
  • [11/12/2018] Congratulations to Dr. Yonghui Wang, an assistant professor in CS Department, and his  team for receiving $676k DoE grant to support the project, “Enhancing Evidence-Based Pedagogies with Maker Culture in STEM Education”. 
  • [9/12/2018] Congratulations to Dr. Lei Huang, associate professor in CS Department, and his  team for receiving $1M NSF grant to support the project, ” Excellence in Research: Collaborative Research: Strengthen the Foundation of Big Data Analytics via Interdisciplinary Research among HBCUs”. This is a collaboration between PVAMU and TSU.
