Prairie View A&M University senior, English major Harold Ellis Owens has been selected to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer.
The Houston, Texas native departs September 24 to immerse in the Senegal, West Africa community. Mr. Owens will spend two years working side by side with local West African leaders to tackle the most pressing challenges of their country.
