Offering a range of degrees, students who have just started their venture into the healthcare sector may opt for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.). This program is a four-and-a-half-year program that supports individuals, allowing them to practice professional nursing in a variety of clinical settings and encouraging them to continue their education through postgraduate studies.

Recent sampling of local gifts from several donors have contributed significantly to the CON’s research in cancer prevention and pedagogical development in simulation technology. Some of the donors include the Houston Endowment, Inc., The Nau Scholars Texas Fund, Methodist Hospital Houston Center for Clinical and Translational Science, Shell Oil Foundation and in collaboration with the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Additionally, the Kellogg Foundation supported the offering of graduate programs and the Family Nurse Practitioner Program.
