Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has developed this scholarship on behalf of our beloved Soror Lameka Trahan who was a devoted member of Delta Sigma Theta and an advocate for Social Action.
Deadline: Friday, April 22, 2022
Criteria:
- Must be enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student for the 2022-2023 academic school year at Prairie View A&M University
- Cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale with 30 hours
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Essay
A completed application packet includes: (signed scholarship application, official college transcript in a sealed envelope, two signed and dated recommendation letters and typed essay (MUST be postmarked by no later than Friday, April 22, 2022).

All completed applications must be postmarked by the deadline. All applications will be screened and evaluated by the scholarship committee, and scholarship awards will be announced in May. The scholarship award will be paid upon confirmation of college registration during the ensuing year of enrollment. The scholarship award must be claimed by October 31, 2022 and used within the academic school year in which the award was presented, or the award will be forfeited.
