Each year, the University honors and recognizes faculty and staff members for their significant efforts in advancing our land-grant mission of teaching, research, and service. Acknowledgement of the awardees occurs during the celebratory luncheon.
Prairie View A&M University proudly welcomes the Class of 2030 during the Lighting & Pinning Ceremony, celebrating their induction and honoring the University’s powerful legacy. The community is invited to support and uplift these new Panthers as they begin their journey on “The Hill.”
The PVAMU community will gather to honor the lives of those who suffered under slavery and to condemn its legacy in the United States. This solemn event serves as a powerful act of remembrance, ensuring the horrors of slavery remain in our collective memory to prevent their repetition.
HillFest 150 kicks off Prairie View’s 150th anniversary and welcomes nearly 2,000 new Panthers with live music, food trucks, yard games, and Celebration Stations across Holland and Gaines Memorial Park. Open to everyone including students, alumni, families, and neighbors. Join the whole Panther family on “The Hill.”
