Panthers Invent 2026 Is This Weekend!

Get ready, Panthers! Panthers Invent 2026 kicks off September 11–13, bringing students together for a 72-hour innovation experience focused on creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving.

The weekend begins Friday, September 11, at 4:30 p.m. in the Juvenile Justice Center Auditorium, with opening remarks, Sandia National Laboratories’ need statements, mentor introductions and team formation. Teams will then move to the School of Architecture Fabrication Center to begin developing their solutions.

On Saturday, September 12th, teams will design, prototype, develop their pitches, and receive mentor feedback as they refine their solutions.

The experience culminates Sunday, September 13, back in the Juvenile Justice Center Auditorium, where teams will present their innovations to a panel of judges from Sandia National Laboratories. The day concludes with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards and team recognition.
