This conference will bring together women from academia, government and industry  on the beautiful campus of the Historically Black College and University, Prairie View A&M University better known as the “Hill” on March 6, 2024 and March 7, 2024, during Women’s History Month.

Our goal is to bring women from academia, industry and government who are in leadership roles or aspire to become leaders together and empower them through conversations, stories and leadership strategies. The Conference will spark new connections through a strong, supportive community. Keynote speakers, panelists and breakout session leaders will provide useful advice on advancing to leadership roles.

• Day 1:  Registration, informal networking, dinner with a key note speaker  
• Day 2:  A full day learning experiences featuring five separate keynote sessions, three panel sessions (one focused on leadership in industry and government and another focused on leadership academia) including access to panelists and speakers in live audience Q&A. 
• Access to 3 breakout sessions focusing on developing skills for leadership and personal development

From Houston (Bush Intercontinental Airport)

1. Take John F Kennedy Boulevard South (going toward I-45) to Beltway 8 West ramp.
2. Stay on Beltway 8 West, it becomes the Sam Houston Tollway (you will have to pay toll road fare).
3. From the Sam Houston Tollway, exit Highway 290 west towards Austin.
4. Go approximately 30 miles on Hwy. 290, and then exit Prairie View/FM 1098.
5. Turn right at the light onto University Drive.
6. Go approximately 0.6 miles then turn left onto T.R. Solomon.
7. Go approximately 0.4 miles then turn left onto Stadium Dr.
8. Destination will be on the left:  1600 Stadium Dr, Prairie View, TX 77445
9. Park in parking lot #93.
