Advising is as important to your academic success as attending classes and excelling in your studies. Working with the student, the academic advisor helps students to navigate their career path. Advisors are committed to the students' success. We expect each student to know his/her degree plan better than the advisor, to come to advising sessions with the degree plan, and to be able to articulate the expected date of graduation.

The advising team will enhance students' academic experience and holistic development through academic advising and innovative educational programming. You can talk with your academic advisor about: 1) assisting with semester course selection and planning; 2) graduate and professional school applications, internships, and employment; 3) transfer credits, university exchange program, overseas educational opportunities; 3) timely degree completion with minimal debt; and 4) overcoming personal and academic challenges.

The Criminal Justice advisors are located in the Criminal Justice Student Success Center, Don Clark Building, rooms 359 and 361. The Student Resource Room is Don Clark, room 247.
