Get ready, get ready, get ready! We are moving to Week 2 with a virtual session because of the Spring Break. On any day and time during the week of March 10th, please watch the educational session on Nutrition and Gut Health, You are What You Eat, which is in line with the impact of our dietary choices by visiting our social media platform, Instagram @pvamunationalnutritionmonth .
If you haven’t completed the Pre-Event Challenge already, please follow the steps below in order of the numbering before taking part in the Social Media Challenge below.

Social Media Challenge! Post your 30 seconds to 1-minute video of your healthy meal plate/right portion sizes/nutrient-dense foods/nutrition facts label on our Instagram platform @pvamunationalnutritionmonth, and invite other PV students/faculty/staff to view and/or share your videos with other PV students/faculty/staff. Individuals with the correct content, highest views and shares will get one of five $200 Amazon gift cards.
The fun-packed Week 3 will also be coming on live on March 18th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Agriculture & Multipurpose Building courtyard and foyer. Come out in the nice weather to sample healthy ethnic nutritious foods from Ghana, Nigeria, Japan and USA. As Food Connects Us, you don’t want to be left out of learning different cuisines that promote food security and weight management, healthy cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose levels. You will also learn tips on honing your cooking skills, meal planning, and grocery shopping on a budget.
