Want a faculty mentor? Attend presentations Nov. 17–20 in John B. Coleman Library, Room 508.
The PVAMU Faculty Mentoring Presentations offer second-year students an exciting opportunity to explore real research happening across campus. Over four days, faculty from multiple disciplines will share their current projects and discuss how students can get involved in meaningful academic and professional pathways.
This event highlights research in three major university clusters:
• Health, Wellness & Healthcare Innovation – including nursing, public health, kinesiology, and wellness sciences
• Community Development & Social Transformation – including sociology, history, criminal justice, business, and writing studies
• Environment, Sustainability & Climate Resilience – including chemistry, biology, agriculture, and environmental sciences
Students will learn about faculty research interests, discover mentoring opportunities, and make connections that can support their academic goals and future careers. Nursing-related presentations will also be available via Zoom for convenient participation.
Whether you’re exploring your major, searching for a mentor, or curious about research experiences, this event is designed to help you take the next step in your PVAMU journey.
Presentations will take place in the John B. Coleman Library, Conference Room 508 and on Zoom.
