Dear Student,
You are invited to participate in this research project which aims to determine the prevalence of food insecurity and related health outcomes among PVAMU students. You must be 18 years or older and be a student of PVAMU.
Your participation would include completing a 15-minute structured questionnaire, with an opportunity to participate in an additional follow-up 45 to 60-minute interview, if you so choose. Your privacy will be protected, and your responses will not be connected to any of your identifying information. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and will not affect your status as a student in any way.
I hope you will consider taking part in this study so the Researchers can learn more about the nutrition knowledge and health behaviors (healthy eating, exercise) of PVAMU students, the built food and social environment to inform a future intervention. The study’s flyer contains the QR code linking you to the survey, or click here.
If there are any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you
Best regards,
