You’re invited to attend the morning programs (8:30 – 12:00) of the Conference on Water, Climate, and Food Security for Students and Early Career Scientists: Emerging Research Challenges in International Agricultural Development at the MSC Auditorium Thursday (8:30 am – 12 noon) Mar 9 – 10 2023. This conference is co-organized by PVAMU College of Agriculture and Human Science and the USAID-Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Small-Scale Irrigation at TAMU.

Over 100 Students and early career scientists from twelve 1890 Historically Black Colleges and Universities will engage with significant issues in the sustainable management of water and natural resources for food security amid climate change toward improving livelihoods in developing areas and countries.

Students and early career scientists will network and discuss international development and research opportunities with a USAID team led by General Counsel Clinton White, imminent scholars from the US and abroad, and industry leaders.

Over 42 students and scientists are trained in related analytical methods as part of the conference Mar 6-8, 2023.

PVAMU Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs will randomly offer five passports for PVAMU students attending these sessions.
