The Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) College of Agriculture and Human Sciences (CAHS) will host the 4th National Goat Conference from Sept. 20-21, 2021. The event will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The conference is sponsored by the National Goat Consortium and will feature workshops and seminars related to goat production, product development, parasite management, and marketing. Faculty and staff from various 1890 Land-Grant universities around the country will lead the workshops, and registration is open to the public.

The National Goat Consortium was established in 2010 as an initiative of the 1890 Land Grant Institutions in collaboration with numerous organizations, including government, non-government, private, and other stakeholders, to commit to the advancement of the goat industry and supporting farmers.
