Ignite Your Passion for Dance at PVAMU

The Dance Program at Prairie View A&M University proudly welcomes all students! The courses are designed to provide intensive professional training within a rigorous academic setting and offer introductory dance classes for non-majors. The Dance Program allows opportunities for collaboration with prominent guest artists, increase coordination and technical abilities, while fostering teamwork, discipline, and self-expression.

The dance curriculum is designed to lead students to diverse pathways in the performing arts. Students are prepared to explore careers as choreographers, teachers (education), professional dance companies, graduate school, administrators, and more.
