School of Culture, Community, and Human Development
The School of Culture, Community, and Human Development houses programs that anchor PVAMU’s mission in cultural awareness, social equity, and human wellbeing. Faculty in the School work at the crossroads of behavioral science, community organizing, and public history - producing scholarship and curricula that explore the lived experiences of marginalized communities and inform social policy. Students will be trained to become leaders in education, mental health, nonprofit management, and social entrepreneurship.
