PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (April 6, 2026) – Prairie View A&M University is hosting two exciting events this week designed to inspire, educate, and connect students and the community with leaders making a difference.
Hear from Stedman Graham

On Tuesday, April 7, at 11 a.m. in the Don Clark Auditorium (Juvenile Justice Building), students and the public will have the opportunity to hear from Stedman Graham, a globally recognized voice on leadership, identity, and personal growth.
According to Dr. Camille Gibson, dean of the Graduate School:
“Students need to see high-profile accomplished persons from a similar background who have reached significant heights so that the reality of what is possible for them takes root and this motivates them to step up higher than they planned, lead, and be change-makers. In fact, many students choose Prairie View with that goal in mind: being a successful leader and a change-maker. Such visits are in keeping with the mission and legacy of Prairie View in terms of the caliber of people we graduate, persons intent on leading, serving, and empowering others to leave lives and communities better than we found them.”
Mr. Graham will discuss his Identity Leadership model, which emphasizes knowing yourself before leading others. Attendees can expect to leave informed, inspired, and confident in their ability to lead in any sphere of life. This event is open to the public.
Coming up later that afternoon
Also, on Tuesday, April 7, at 2 p.m., the President’s Lecture Series presents Conversations on the Hill featuring Tiffany Greene, ESPN commentator and reporter. The event will be held in the Julius W. Becton, Jr. Auditorium in the Alvin I. Thomas Administration Building.
