International Students

The Office of International Student Services (ISS) provides international students with an Orientation session each fall, spring, and summer semester. New International Student Orientation is scheduled prior to the beginning of each semester. This allows students the opportunity to become familiar with the campus, housing, and the community.

New International Student Orientation is mandatory for new international students in F-1 status because it is critical that the student receives vital information regarding immigration regulations and requirements, academic standing requirements, enrollment requirements, and health insurance requirements.  Students are informed of procedures for social security account numbers, on-campus employment, and requirements for the driver’s license.
