In 1945, the new Library then called W R Banks was completed. It cost $200,000. Principal W.R. Banks and others are captured in this picture moving books. More than 20,000 volumes were moved in this manner. Summer school students, housewives, children, faculty members, 4-H boys and girls, regular school students, all helped with this tremendous job.
