The methods for submitting Turnitin assignments and accessing the Similarity Report depend on how the instructor set up the assignment. Instructors can use the Turnitin External Tool or the Turnitin Plagiarism Framework.
How can you tell the difference between the Turnitin External Tool and the Turnitin Plagiarism Framework?
Upon opening the assignment, look for a reference to the Assignment Dashboard (shown in image below). If the Assignment Dashboard is present, the assignment was set up with the External Tool.
