The Prairie View A&M University NWHC is pleased to offer proctoring services to PVAMU students (and their faculty) on a limited basis. These limits are based on our small staff size, facilities, and hours of operations. We are happy to work with you to serve all students, but especially those who are taking courses in the NWHC.
- For your proctoring requests, please contact the dean’s office at 713-790-7272.
- Please allow at least 2 weeks before your requested day/hour for proctoring the exam/test
- The proctoring services will be available from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (Monday – Thursday) and from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Fridays
- Given the limited staff, the NWHC will not proctor “open book” exams
- Please note there are limited number of computer labs for test taking – if your exam is to be given in a lab, there may be conflicts, so reserve as soon as possible
- We may use technology to save staff time – students will be informed they are being monitored by camera (remote monitoring)
- All requests will be considered based on space and staff availability. Please have a plan B in case we cannot accommodate your request
- Free proctoring services are currently available only for PVAMU students; for students who are in other colleges there will be a $25 fee for proctoring a two hour exam.
