Be sure to review the Online Course Review Process to become familiar with the steps in the development and approval process. This will help to avoid delays in getting your course approved. The Course Definitions page provides the definition of each course delivery type.
Distance Education course approval requires the submission of two forms. The course has to first be approved by the department and college/school through the curriculum process. This is done by downloading and completing the Request to Offer a Course via Distance Education form.

When the curriculum process is finished, complete the Self-Study Course Approval Form and submit it to CIITS.
