Prairie View A&M University will host delegates from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Ames Laboratory and (ISU) on November 18, 2016. The mission of their visit is to introduce faculty and students to the many summer fellowships and internship opportunities, available research grants, and other collaboration opportunities with DOE national laboratories, such as Ames Lab and ISU.
Two seminars will be held in Room 203 of E. E. O’Banion Science Building from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Between the lab director’s seminar and ISU faculty research seminar, lunch/refreshment will be served, and a Q/A session will follow.
The delegates, Steve Karsjen and Javier Vela, will meet with Dr. Felecia M. Nave, Provost and Senior Vice President of Office for Academic Affairs, Dr. Cajetan M. Akujuobi the Vice President for Research and Dean of Graduate Studies , Brailsford College of Arts and Sciences Dean Danny R. Kelley, and Roy G. Perry College of Engineering Dean Kendall T. Harris.
