Students are charged a Health Services fee at the beginning of each semester enrolled. Office visit co-pays are covered for currently enrolled students. The co-pay does NOT include any medications, labs, x-rays, and or supplies. Students will be billed for any medication, labs, x-rays, and or supplies.

Health Services bills may be paid via check, money order, credit/debit card or billed to the student fee account.

If the student chooses to have the charges assessed to the student fee account, the fees are billed by the end of the next business day and will be payable to the Bursar’s Office.

INSURANCE

As an out-of-network provider, Health Services will file a courtesy insurance claim on behalf of an enrolled student. Any amount not covered by the student insurance carrier will be billed to the student fee account.

Some insurance carriers may take up to 90 days to return a decision and/or payment. Therefore, if insurance claims are filed, any remaining balance will not immediately appear on the student fee account.

Payment for Clinical visits must be rendered at the time of service.

Missed Appointments

Students are advised to check in 15 minutes prior to the student’s scheduled appointment time. If a student does not cancel the appointment at least 24 hours in advance, a $25 fee will be placed on the student’s account.

EMT Service Fee

A student health fee is paid by each enrolled student to provide on-campus EMT services. The EMT services provide students with 24-hour access to care for life-threatening issues from trained providers stationed on campus. On-campus EMT services are not allowed to transport patients off-campus. Transportation to a local facility is provided by Waller Country EMT at the student’s expense.

To Avoid fees, cancel appointment 24 hours prior.
