CAHS Endowed Professor Plans to Address Feeding 9 Billion People in New Role

November 8 – According to a United Nations report, the world’s population is currently at 7.8 billion people and is growing at a rate of around 1.05% per year. By the year 2050, the global population is projected to reach 9.7 billion. In his new role, CAHS Endowed Professor of Water Security and the Water-Food-Energy Nexus, Ali Fares, Ph.D., will address feeding the population and providing clean water.
