PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (January 7, 2022) – Devarjaye Daniel, a 9-year-old boy from Houston who’s battling terminal cancer, has a goal of being sworn in by 100 law enforcement agencies. Over the winter break, Prairie View A&M University’s Police Department (PVAMU UPD) got Daniel another step closer to his goal by swearing him in as an honorary officer.
Aside from PVAMU UPD, Daniel has been sworn in by several local-, state- and federal-level agencies.
