On Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, and Thursday, Nov. 2, the West Gate, the entrance at Farm-to-Market 1098 and L.W. Minor Street, will close to through traffic from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following day. On Friday, Nov. 3, the West Gate will close at 6 p.m. and remain closed until Saturday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 3, at 5 p.m., additional road closures within the Homecoming Zone will go into place, including:
- R. Soloman and University Drive
- J. Thomas and L.W. Minor
- W. Minor and Marion Henry
Once the road closures go into effect, traffic will not be allowed. Driving around barricades without a permit will result in a citation.
On Saturday, Nov. 4, University Drive will be closed from 6 to 11 a.m. for the Homecoming parade. Parade parking will be located on the north side of campus.
The North Gate (near phases 3-5), the entrance at Farm-to-Market 1098 and Cameron Road or (E.E. O’Banion Street), will remain open as an alternate entrance and exit for Homecoming traffic.
