PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (Feb. 9, 2024) – The Prairie View A&M University 2024 football schedule is officially out, with Homecoming slated for late October. The non-conference game on Oct. 26 is against the Texas A&M Commerce Lions.
PVAMU opens the season at home on Aug. 31 with a Southwestern Athletic Conference game with the Texas Southern Tigers. They travel to Northwestern State (Southland Conference) on Sept. 7 and Michigan State (Big Ten Conference) on Sept. 14.
Following those games are two SWAC contests: the first on Sept. 21 at home against the Southern Jaguars and the second in Dallas on Sept. 28 for the annual State Fair Classic with the Grambling State Tigers.
PVAMU Football plays its third of four non-conference games on Oct. 5 against the Incarnate Word Cardinals. A return to SWAC action is next, as the Panthers travel to take on the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions on Oct. 12.
PVAMU wraps up its non-conference slate with Homecoming.
The remainder of the schedule includes a visit to Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 2, then home games with Florida A&M and Alcorn State back-to-back on Nov. 9 and Nov. 16. The Panthers close out the season with Alabama State on Nov. 23.
