Join us in congratulating alumnus Charles Porter (’89) on being honored by President Simmons and interim athletic director/alumna Alicia Pete over the weekend for 30 years of service on The Hill as a sports announcer for Prairie View A&M Panther Athletics! The PVAMU Sports Hall of Fame inductee started out as a radio announcer for campus radio station KPVU 91.3 FM and was also on the football team. Known as “The Voice of PV”, Porter currently is the sports broadcast announcer for Panther Vision Sports Network on pvpanthers.com.
