New Student Orientation
Your Prairie View A&M University experience starts with New Student Orientation (NSO). During NSO, you will learn more about PVAMU resources. Attendance at New Student Orientation is mandatory in order for students to register for Spring 2026 classes.
Important information to sign-up for New Student Orientation (NSO):
All information will be communicated via your PVAMU official email.
Before you do anything else, you must complete the preliminary tasks outlined in the Admissions Letter:
- Log into PV Place to set-up your PVAMU student account
- Log into PV Place and check your PVAMU email in Panther Tracks
- Submit TSI Scores or Exemptions
- Lock-in your Tuition & Fee Rate Plan
- Sign in to the PV student portal
- Click on “Click here for New PantherTracks For Students”
- Under ‘Student Accounts,’ click “New Student Tuition And Fee Rate Selection”
- Register for NSO
Step 1: Visit pvamu.edu/pvplace and
sign-in using your PVAMU Student account.
- If you have not set-up your student account, refer to your acceptance letter for more information
Step 2: Click “Click here for New PantherTracks For Students”
