HillFest 150 is one afternoon, two milestones: nearly 2,000 new Panthers stepping onto The Hill for the first time, and 150 years of Prairie View kicking off its next chapter.

Think festival, not orientation! Live music from KPVU, food trucks, yard games, photo moments, and Celebration Stations from every corner of campus, all spread across Holland and Gaines Memorial Park.

It follows the morning’s Lighting and Pinning Ceremony, but this part’s for everybody; new students, alumni, families, neighbors, the whole Panther family.

Come meet us on The Hill. Come celebrate what’s next.

This is an all-outdoors celebration, so guests should plan accordingly: Sunscreen, water, and comfortable shoes are recommended. Health and wellness stations, cooling areas, and onsite medical support will be available throughout the event. Portable chairs and small hand-held umbrellas are welcome.

Free and open to students, alumni, families, and the community. No registration required.
