HillFest 150 is a community-wide celebration welcoming approximately 2,000 incoming Prairie View A&M University students while helping launch the University’s historic 150th anniversary year.
The event will bring together students, alumni, faculty, staff, families and members of the surrounding community for an afternoon of music, interactive academic and student engagement stations, photo and fun activations, community organizations, vendors, food trucks, yard games; all family-friendly activities.
HillFest 150 follows the morning Lighting and Pinning Ceremony for new students and is designed to introduce the incoming class to the Prairie View community, campus resources and the traditions that make the University special.
