New HESI Exam date added: January 26, 2016. Register by January 19, 2016.

For all returning students, Walk-In Testing will be Monday - Thursday from 1 pm - 5 pm. Please arrive no later than 3:30 pm in order to begin an exam. If you need more than one section, please arrive at 1 pm.

Remote TSI Request Forms, CLEP Request Forms and Cross Institutional Reporting Forms will be processed every Friday before the close of business.

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) is a process for evaluating skills in order to award college credit for learning from Military Service, Training, CLEP (or other credit-by-exam programs) and the Experiential Learning Portfolio. PLA includes:

Advanced Placement (AP)

Accommodated Testing for Students with Disabilities

Students who need accommodations for exams administered on campus will need to contact Disability Services to make arrangements for testing. Please note that all NATIONAL exams, including the SAT, ACT, LSAT and MPRE, make determinations regarding accommodated testing and this documentation must be provided to them directly. The mission of the Office of Testing is to support student retention and success by providing examinations and resources that assist with academic and professional advancement.  The Office of Testing supports and promotes the institutional mission of Prairie View A&M University and the academic mission of the Division of Academic Enhancement by administering local, state and national test programs and by providing centralized evaluation services for all students, faculty, and the surrounding community. We adhere to the Professional Standards and Guidelines established by the National College Testing Association (NCTA)
