Participants will work side-by-side with leading researchers at Prairie View A&amp;M University with projects relating to Smart Grid Systems.\u00a0 Some possible projects include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wireless Network System for Microgrid<\/li>\n<li>Battery Technologies for Photovoltaic Systems<\/li>\n<li>Solar Power Efficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Wind Power Data Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Bio-gas Production and Data Analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HIGHLIGHTS OF RET<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 Weeks summer research experience for teachers (June 18 to July 30, 2019)<\/li>\n<li>$6,000 stipends upon completion of the program<\/li>\n<li>Research opportunities in smart microgrid with experience mentors at Prairie View A&amp;M University<\/li>\n<li>Teachers will incorporate hands-on SCC learning modules and develop long-term relationships with faculty and graduate students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION DEADLINE<\/strong>: <u>April 30, 2019<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(i) Completed online application form, (ii) resume, (iii) two-page personal statement.\u00a0 The resume and personal statement should be submitted as pdf files.
