NASA iTech Ignite the Night

  • NASA iTech

Would you like to see if your new technology or idea might be useful to NASA?  Get advice from NASA and industry experts?  Meet with capital investors?  Or would you like to be in the audience to hear these new ideas?  NASA’s iTech program gives innovators and entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ideas and technologies to audiences of NASA experts, industry leaders, and capital investors.

This year, the iTech team will be coming to Houston for “Ignite the Night” to hear about technologies being developed here in three technology areas.  Apply now to be seleNASA iTechcted as one of the fifteen presenters for Houston’s Ignite the Night and for the opportunity to pitch your idea to this select audience.  The top presenter will also be given the opportunity to pitch at the national iTech event in Washington.

This will help to build an ecosystem of innovators and investors solving or investing in solutions that can be useful to NASA, as well as making NASA and industry experts aware of your technology and ideas.  Participants will also be able to network with industry technology leaders and investors, potentially leading to future partnerships and funding opportunities.

During each NASA iTech cycle, a team from NASA Headquarters will be visiting various cities throughout the US to host an Ignite the Night event to hear about the technologies being developed in the local communities that may address the identified focus areas specific to the current NASA iTech cycle.  Fifteen presenters will be selected and given the opportunity to pitch their idea.

The goal is to help build an ecosystem of innovators and investors looking to solve or invest in solutions that can be useful for NASA in the future. This event also gives the innovators the opportunity to hear from NASA, engage with subject matter experts & better understand requirements, meet industry leaders that can potentially partner with the startups, and investors.

The three iTech focus areas for 2018 are:

 ·       Artificial Intelligence & Autonomous Robotic Capabilities
