6. Submit Proposal to OSP
There are two important dates to remember when submitting information and proposals to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP).
Administrative Deadline: 3 weeks prior to submission
In order to submit your proposal for routing and the required institutional approvals, the following documents are required to be submitted to the assigned Proposal Administrator at least three (3) weeks prior to the proposal submission deadline:
- Completed Budget & Budget Narrative
- Identification of any and all subrecipients
- Draft Proposal/Abstract
- Cost-Sharing Documentation, if applicable
- Indirect Cost Waiver approval, if applicable
Final Deadline: 3 days prior to submission*
In order to submit your proposal to the sponsor, OSP requires that all finalized documents, including the final version of the proposal, are submitted to the assigned Proposal Administrator at least three (3) business days* prior to the proposal submission deadline.
Once your proposal is submitted, a copy of the final submission will be uploaded in MAESTRO for your reference.
If you receive notification that your proposal is funded, please contact OSP immediately and provide documentation. If OSP receives notification, your information will be updated and you will be notified through MAESTRO of your new award.
*This date may vary due to an influx of proposals with competing deadlines. If so, it will be indicated as such in the instructions received once an Intent to Submit Form is completed.
