The Communication Program prepares students for careers in television and video production, news broadcasting, speech, public relations, and writing and editing for print media. The program offers a B.A with two different tracks in Mass Communication and Communication Studies.
The English Program prepares students to become teachers of composition and literature, enter graduate and professional studies in a variety of fields, and develop their skills for careers in the private and public sectors. The program offers a B.A. (with or without teacher certification).
The Foreign Language Program offers coursework in Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic, to enhance students’ opportunities and possibilities within an increasingly globalized world.
The Department offers four academic minors in Communication, English, Spanish, and Humanities.
