Sexual assault is any unwanted, non-consensual sexual contact against any individual by another using manipulation, pressure, tricks, coercion or physical force.

1 in 5 women & 1 in 71 men will be raped at some point in their lives

Sexual Assault Can Include:

  • Taking or posting sexual photos to porn and social media sites, and/or through text messages without consent
  • Completed act of penetration that includes any penetration of the vagina, anus, or by any object
  • Attempted act of penetration
  • Forcing you to have sex (sexual coercion), and forcing you to have sex with friends, roommates, and/or family members
  • Behavioral or verbal sexual harassment

Consent is the most important aspect of sexual assault.

CONSENT is a voluntary, conscious, and mutual agreement to engage in sexual activity. You must get consent throughout the sexual acts.

Only “YES” is consent. STOP, ASK, AND LISTEN TO THE ANSWER. RESPECT THE ANSWER. GET CONSENT.
