If you are expecting to receive federal aid for the 2019 – 2020 Academic year, you must:


Your FAFSA for the 2019 – 2020 was selected for a review process called Verification by the U.S. Department of Education.  You must submit additional documentation to the PVAMU Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships before receiving funding of your financial aid.  Please review your “Student Requirements” for Financial Aid in your PV.Place and PantherTracks to verify what documentation is required. If there are differences between your FAFSA information and the financial documents you provided, PVAMU will make the necessary corrections to your FAFSA.

A notification will be sent to your university student email address if your award is adjusted due to a change in your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from the verification corrections. In addition to being selected for verification, you may need to submit other eligibility requirements associated with determining the eligibility of your financial aid.

The deadline has already passed, therefore, please take action to satisfy all student requirements for financial aid immediately!

Failure to submit the required documents before the payment deadline will delay the disbursement of your financial aid. Please be prepared to pay your tuition and fees if verification has not been processed by the Treasury Services payment deadline
