Summer School Requirements

Summer financial aid is extremely limited.  Some students may have remaining federal aid (Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans or Pell Grant) that was NOT used in full during the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters.  Institutional aid may be awarded based upon availability of funding.

If you plan to take summer courses and would like to be considered for financial aid, make sure you have completed the following:

  • Have filled out the 2016-2017 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you have received financial aid for the Fall/Spring semesters before summer, you will not need to complete a new FAFSA to receive summer financial aid.
  • Continue to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
  • Enroll at least half-time for one summer session, or at least half-time over the period of both summer sessions combined.
